The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the St Catherine High School Alumni Association, is scheduled for Sunday, August 11, 2024 at 4:30pm.
As stated in our previous communication, the decision was taken to postpone the holding of this meeting and elections for a period not exceeding three months due to several competing activities. This is a constitutionally stipulated election year, thus, a new administration to serve the association for the next two years will be elected during the AGM.
Nominations will open on Sunday, July 28 and will close Sunday, August 4. In accordance with the constitution (https://schalumni.com/constitution) the Principal Mr. Marlon Campbell (or his nominee) will act as Presiding Officer. Nominations should be submitted in writing to Mr Marlon Campbell, Principal at marloncampbell006@gmail.com.
For those interested in holding executive positions, please be aware of these constitutional notes:
- The post of President must be nominated along with his/her slate (First and Second Vice Presidents).
- The other positions (Treasurer, Secretary, Assistant Treasurer/Secretary and PRO) will be filled through independent elections.
- Only paid up members will be allowed to vote (paid up can be half of the annual fee as well). The full membership fee is $2,500.00.
