SCHS Alumni Association Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the St  Catherine High School Alumni Association, is scheduled for Sunday, May 29, 2022. Our constitution requires that this meeting be held on the third Sunday in April ( April 17) . However, this was a holiday weekend and a decision was taken to reschedule. The date was pushed into May due to the many sporting events we had to prepare for including the upcoming Penn Relays in the United States. 

This is a constitutionally stipulated election year, thus, a new administration to serve the association for the next two years will be elected during the AGM. The executive is appealing for your support to carry out this necessary exercise.  

In accordance with the constitution the Principal Mr. Marlon Campbell (or his nominee) will act as Presiding Officer. Persons interested in running for any position, should contact the Principal at school or through his email address marloncampbell006@gmail.com.

For those interested in holding executive positions, please be aware of these constitutional notes: The post of President must be nominated along with his/her slate (First and Second Vice Presidents). The other positions (Treasurer, Secretary, Assistant Treasurer/Secretary and PRO) will be filled through independent elections. Only paid up members will be allowed to vote (paid up can be half of the annual fee as well). The full membership fee is $2,500.00.
